In the April contest, all the entries were too good and the creativity of TIAn's has shined through brightly. Every entry is a winner in its own way.But since this is a contest, we have to name the winners.

Thanks to all the TIAN's who took time to cast their vote.

Welcome ladies to the blog featuring the entries of our contest for TIA in April contest

It was an apt contest for this month, as we celebrate Earth Day on April 22nd.Where the participants have shown us how things that we generally discard off can be re-used and save them from ending up in a landfill.

Mother Earth has taken care of us from time immemorial, and we have always taken her for granted and never cared for her.We, humans have abused her, depleted all the resources and are now on a verge on destroying our planet.

It is now our duty and responsibility to take care of her, nurture her and pass on to our future generations so they can live a happy and healthy lives.

On this note, we the Organizers of this month's contest urge you to do everything you can, even little acts like carrying re-usable grocery bags, recycling, walk short distances to save our Earth.

This was an old pedestal that I bought which got very dirty and shabby as it was left in the storage for several years. My husband wanted to trash it but I had saved it all these years hoping that I could make something pretty out of it. Finally, I got a chance to paint it to make it look beautiful and I arranged some flowers over it so that it became part of my home decor stuff.

CD colorful Pen Stand (decorated with old Beads):
Items Used:

1.Six old CD’s
2.One home freshener box ( any box )
3.Glue
4.Beads From old shoes(blue)
5.other beads
6. 26 guage small beading wire

I Cut the box to approximate size required for pen stand & used Glue to paste on all the 5 edges & pasted the lower CD to another CD (Shiny side out).
Now I made small holes & inserted the beading wire & made handles out of those to hang it if u like or give it a basket like appearance. All the beads used for decoration are old & available at home.
Then I decorated the CD with old bead accents from my old Shoes.
Lastly decorated the remaining two CD’s to match my taste.

I have painted the bottle and hanged those beads and made it as a wind chain .....

2. corn peel (hay) - for the roof
3.card board base of a cake- for the palm tree, sun, back of the picture frame and the star fish
4. Plastic cake cover - for covering the picture in the frame
5. Gift wrapper cut into small circle - for the umbrella

4: White paper(Nenu edo pata print out tesina paper venaka kali ga untey danni use chesa)
5:Gift paper/colour paper(already vadina paper use chesanu)

Procedure:

1.Mundu paper meeda ganesha bomma vesukuni danini cut cheskovali.Colour veyali bommaki.
2.Food colour water lo kalipi pettukovali.Pista shells tesukuni ee food colour veyali vatiki.
3.Pista Shells meeda colour aaraka vatini cut chesi pettukunna bommaki outline lo glue tho stick chesi aranivvali.
4.Box ni okaside flat ga cut cheskovali(pic lo chupinchi nattu).Dani meeda edanna gift cover kani colour paper kani stick cheyyali(nenu already vadina gift paper teskunna).
5: Ippudu box meeda mundu tayarchesukunna ganesha bomma stick cheyyali.Box venaka hang cheyyataniki hook pettali ....wall hanging ready.

Note:
Nenu plain gift paper teskunna so ,daniki paint to dots petta.Meeru edayina design unna manchi gift paper teskovachu.
